Love for a Lifetime....
Learn about our pets & our passionate team, and how you can help!
Our rescues are generally small dogs from puppies to seniors. They come to us from many different sources: overcrowded shelters, shelter death row, voluntary surrenders (when someone can no longer care for a pet through changed circumstances, owner loss or illness), abandonment, and reports of cruelty or neglect.
Our sweet rescues are all thoroughly examined and treated by a licensed veterinarian. Vaccinations and any other treatments deemed necessary are provided and all are spayed/neutered at the expense of our Rescue. Some of our rescues have been ill or injured and treatments & surgeries provided.
Our foster families love and care for our rescues before, during and after veterinarian care. They help to ensure our rescues are socialized and prepared for their furever family and home. They also help to identify what environments might be best suited as a match. The Rescue provides the supplies, food, kennels, pee pads, etc. The foster provides the nurture.
As an adopter, you first see a furbaby's face that touches your heart. You then fill out an application and submit it for consideration as an adopter. The Rescue needs to understand your ability to provide that forever, loving, safe home and positive pet-parent relationship.
Our experienced volunteer will contact the potential adopter for an interview to get to know you and other household members better (people & pets). And this may include a home visit as well. It is this volunteer's responsibility to ensure as best as possible a safe and successful adoption experience. He/she/they may suggest other suitable rescue options as well.
If after the vetting the adopter is found eligible and still interested - a "meet & greet" opportunity can be arranged for that in person experience between potential parent & pet(s). The "meet & greet" can be a get acquainted event, or even the adoption event if it goes well, the adopter is ready and has made a final decision on which furbaby they want to take home.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and improve conditions. Your generous donation will fund our mission.
Our amazing team of volunteers are committed to helping animals in our community find safe loving homes. We take our convictions and turn them into action.
And our adoptive pet parents provide a nurturing healthy "furever" home to both give and receive loving care for a lifetime.

We have been providing support to our community's animals for years as caring individuals. We banded together to form our organization to provide supportive, sensible solutions for those who can't help themselves - our rescues.
We also work in cooperation with other rescues if we find an animal in need that better meets their mission.
Thanks to the helping hands of this amazing community!
We focus on making the maximum positive effect.
Our volunteers, donors and adopters provide the resources we need to make all of this possible.
We take actions that make a long-lasting difference
